Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics - Greenville Operations located in Greenville, SC, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support on-going modification on various military equipment and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter. The job requires electrical engineering knowledge of fixed wing or rotary aircraft with a high op-tempo team focused on supporting existing aircraft as a Liaison Engineer on various customer programs.
Understand system level and sensor block diagrams, harness schematics/drawings, bill of materials, and cable routing.
Have technical skills in writing Ground/EMI Test Plans and Procedures as well as creating Test Reports.
Candidate will be responsible for locating sources for parts required to support sustainment and logistics and providing support to Supplier Quality on problems with parts during receiving inspection and production.
Must have good communication skills and able to effectively work with manufacturers and other external part suppliers working through Procurement. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be a United States citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 3 years of professional experience.
Experience in aerospace/aircraft electrical engineering within the following areas: System design to include digital, analog, RF circuit design or component engineering.
Must have experience with engineering design tools such as CATIA, Computer Aided Design (CAD), or similar design tools.
Proficient with MS Office Tools, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:
Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, RF circuit designs components to include electronic system and subsystem design, integration and test.
Experience in Components Engineering with broad knowledge of electronic components and devices.
Electrical or Electronic Engineering experience (such as components or digital/analog design).
