    Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics located in Greenville, SC, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and complete modifications on various military equipment and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter. The job requires electrical engineering knowledge of fixed wing or rotary aircraft with a high op-tempo team focused on modifying existing aircraft and integrating modified components through various customer program requirements.

    The candidate must have a good working knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, Radio Frequency (RF) circuit designs components to include electronic system and subsystem design, integration and test. Develop system level and sensor block diagrams, harness schematics/drawings, bill of materials, power budget/electrical load analysis, cable routing, removal of existing components and installation of new avionic systems, antennas, transmitters and radios to ensure products will meet stated requirements.
    Have technical skills in writing Ground/Flight/Electro-magnetic Interference (EMI) Test Plans and Procedures as well as creating Test Reports. Be able to review Technical Publications for technical correctness. Be able to assist with creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for future program requirements.

    Candidate will be responsible for assisting the Design Team in selecting parts for new designs and design updates, component failure analyses, locating sources for parts required to support sustainment and logistics, and providing support to Supplier Quality on problems with parts during receiving inspection and production.
    Must have good communication skills and able to effectively work with manufacturers and other external part suppliers working through Procurement. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

    Must have an active Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires Program special access.
    Basic Qualifications:
    Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 5 years of professional experience with electrical engineering knowledge of fixed wing or rotary aircraft (commercial or military aviation industry). Will accept 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

    Experience in aircraft electrical engineering within the following areas: System design to include digital, analog, RF circuit design or component engineering.

    Must have experience with engineering design tools like CATIA, Computed Aided Design and Manufacturing (CADAM), or similar design tools.

    Proficient with MS Office Tools, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    Desired Skills:
    The following Desired Skills are not required, but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

    Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, RF circuit designs components to include electronic system and subsystem design, integration and test.

    Familiarity with power electronics and controllers, digital electronics and mixed signal interfaces, EMI/EMC, and electronic components.

    3D CAD tools and digital design tools.

    Experience in Components Engineering with broad knowledge of electronic components and devices.

    Electrical or Electronic Engineering experience (such as components or digital/analog design).
