    The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of the engagement plan and communication products for the Software Factory. The role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Software Factory's engagement strategy and ensures alignment to the Business Area Strategy, the Line of Businesses, Corporate and our customer communities.

    This individual will develop a campaign to include messaging, engagements, advertising, digital media and other elements of communications, in coordination with the comms team. This individual also assists in leveraging internal and external communications channels to increase awareness and understanding of the Software Factory for employees, programs, executives, and customers. The successful candidate will be strategic, creative, an excellent writer and collaborative. The successful candidate will have technical engineering domain experience, as well as experience with agile and/or DevSecOps.

    Primary responsibilities:
    • Develops an engagement plan and communication products for the Software factory such as blogs, brag sheets, daily tidbits, etc.
    • Develops and executes a communication campaign, in coordination with the comms team
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and the LM Space Communication team to write, edit and publish community relations content on the company intranet and digital signage
    • Increasing awareness of the Software Factory
    • Maintain and update the Software Factory website

    Basic Qualifications:
    •Software or systems engineering experience
    •Strong writer
    •Experience developing integrated communications plans
    •Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and executive leadership
    •Motivated self-starter who performs without appreciable direction and works effectively under competing priorities and tight deadlines
    Desired Skills:
    •Experience with agile methodologies
    •Strong skills with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of tools e.g. Photoshop, Animate, Illustrator, etc.
    •Able to work with a diverse employee population and members of local communities
    •Experience developing training products
