Description:Position supports the Finance and Business Operations organization in the Enterprise Operations business.
Position responsible for, but not limited to the following:
-Performs tasks related to income tax compliance, such as returns, extensions, forecasts and tax provisions for business sectors and certain corporate heritage business units.
-Develops and maintains critical relationships between Tax, Controller, Treasury, Legal, and Business Units to ensure Tax has a well-informed view of the business operations.
-Preparation of Federal corporate and partnership returns. Assists with corporate tax initiatives.
-Preparation of estimated payments.
-Reviews new and existing tax laws,regulations and rulings to ensure minimization of the corporate tax burden.
-Reconciles accounts and maintains tax accounting records.
-Coordinates closely with Tax Accounting and Reporting team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision and related disclosures.
-Knowledge of and experience working with tax forms and processing
-Intermediate level proficiency of MS Office Suite
-Effective verbal and written communication skills
-Effective interpersonal skills and engagement with peers, customers and managers
-Prior experience preparing Corporation federal and state income tax returns
-Certified Public Accountant or Masters Taxation
-Familiarity with CorpTax, SAP, OneSource and Hyperion
-Familiarity with ASC 704 and Sarbox
-Experience from a Big Four accounting firm
