    Job Description

    Description:This role will have the opportunity to shape the next generation for sustainment on F35. This position will be key to the success of sustainment sub contracting for F35 and will lead the team in shaping that future. A successful candidate will have a background with multiple contracting strategies and have a full understanding of the scope of F35 sustainment. This includes Field Repairs, Field Services, Mod and Upgrades, Spares, and Depot Activation and Support. Primary responsibilities will be to support the JSF Program Office in the shaping of Prime Proposals for future contracts with our customers. Candidate will lead the development the Sub-contract strategy to support the Prime effort. This may include but is not limited to contribution to the development of SSOWs, leading supplier engagements, supporting buyers, representing leadership in Executive/Sr. Leader briefings, and representing Lockheed Martin in customer engagements. Candidate should have a strong knowledge of Performance Based Contracts and Manufacturing Repair Agreements in both Annual and Multi Year contracts. This role will have include international travel and must be able to support engagements in person as required
    Basic Qualifications:
    • 9+ years of experience with the supply chain or procurement or buying or combination thereof and combined with additional experience to meet typical minimum
    • Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
    • Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)/ Understanding of Government Procurement processes and regulations
    • Advanced Contract Negotiation experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or University
    Desired Skills:
    • Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments
    • Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions, problem solving skills required
