    Job Description

    Description:Test functional Manager for the Sensor Integration and Test Center (SITC) leading a team of ~53 hourly and support personnel. Responsibilities include oversight of all recurring and nonrecurring Manufacturing Test activities, functional processes, training, manpower planning, talent recruitment and retention, test equipment capital planning, test training plans, and strategic planning. Facilitate test failure investigations, corrective action development and implementation plans.

    Manages and coordinates the design, development, and implementation of testing methods and equipment with Program Test Engineers. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition and disciplinary actions. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. This role requires knowledge/experience with electronic circuits, automated test software, manufacturing processes, and the manufacturing test environment. Additionally, the ability to interpret test requirements, implement requirement-based test methodologies, and utilizing statistical data analysis is required.

    Specific duties will include:
    • Coordinate and schedule PM, repairs and upgrades for capital and test equipment with facilities and production
    • Work with Program TE's to develop test procedures and ensure consistency throughout SITC
    • Coordinate calibration of common test equipment
    • Responsible for staffing represented testers for SITC
    • Capital Planning for test equipment
    • Manage training/cross training plans of SITC testers
    Basic Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Science, Engineering, Technology or Math
    - Supervisory/management experience in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment
    - Experience in the application of lean manufacturing techniques
    - Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in developing and presenting program management level briefings (i.e. PMR, CDR, FRB, CAB)
    - Demonstrated focus on positive customer relations
    -Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
    Desired Skills:
    - Greenbelt or Blackbelt certified
    - Estimating and analytical skills
    - Interested in leading and developing teams
    - Thorough knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures as it relates to Test Operations
    - Familiarity with heritage and current MFC S&GS programs and test operations
    - Familiarity and experience working with environmental screening and highly accelerated stress screening test operations and equipment
    - Experience leading in a union represented environment
