Description:This position is for a senior member of an ADP Systems Engineering team, providing support across the entire product line including both modernization and existing programs. The candidate will be part of a fast paced, dynamic environment exploring state of the art technical solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration and test of Mission Systems capabilities and functions in a laboratory and flight test environment. Utilizing mission systems requirements, the candidate will lead the development of test requirements and procedures, execute integration and test activities in a lab environment, evaluate mission systems functionality which support flight test evaluation. Candidate must have strong technical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in-depth understanding of military aircraft functionality, and demonstrated integration and test experience with a modern software intensive mission systems architecture.
The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of Earned Value Measurement Systems (EVMS), aspires to be a technical leader and is well-versed in systems engineering, prepared to run significant elements within the effort and think creatively and individually. A working knowledge of Requirements and Verification Traceability tools establishing verification methods is considered an imperative.
Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelors or Above Technical Degree in a Technical Discipline
Must have a minimum final secret with investigation last six years
Experience leading systems engineering activities across organizations or suppliers
Experience with requirements generation and decomposition
Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel and Access)
Experience with tracking requirements using the DOORS database tool
Experience with systems engineering process
Experience with operation of flight hardware and test equipment in a lab environment
Experience with hardware configuration management
Experience reading Engineering Drawings and Parts List
Ability to work with different suppliers and engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
Experience developing a system architecture (or familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF))
Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing requirements
Work experience with operational modeling tools
Control Account Manager (CAM) experience; CAM-Certification a plus.
