NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will work with engineers, scrum masters and product owners to envision and deliver robust applications and services that bring omni-channel solutions to the next level in Beaverton, OR. Will design and build secure, highly scalable and innovative services in a continuous delivery model on the cloud platform. Will partner with leads and architects to establish a technical vision for various commerce experiences. Will use Java and microservice architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful API's. Will work in a distributed and cloud-based environment with high transaction volumes. Will use Spring framework and Spring Boot. Will design, implement, and maintain IBM Sterling order and inventory management solution. Will use data structures, algorithms and architecture patterns. Will define solutions, provide estimates of effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility. Will work within DevOps, modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, and automated integration tests. Will use NoSQL data stores to ensure data storage is designed for security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance. Will work within Scrum and Agile principles. Will rely on knowledge of version control systems (GIT), issue tracking tools (Jira), and CI/CD related tools (Jenkins and TeamCity). Will engage in pair programming and perform technical code reviews. Will partner with other teams to ensure that the service ecosystem is loosely coupled and scalable. Will engage in ten percent or less domestic and international travel.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering. Experience: five years of overall progressive experience in software engineering. Skills/Requirements: 5 years of experience: (1) Webservices; (2) unit and integration testing and code review frameworks; (3) building order and inventory management solutions; (4) monitoring tools, including Splunk, New Relic, AWS Cloud Watch, and SignalFX; (5) relational database management solutions, including MySQL, Oracle; and DB2; (6) NoSQL databases; (7) Sterling Commerce package; (8) Amazon Web Services; and (9) Java and Spring frameworks.
