As a GSOC Supervisor, you will work on special project coverage requests as needed, ensure all supplier personnel understand and fulfill their duties and responsibilities, provide a positive image for G4S, the property and supplier, and be thoroughly familiar with the premises and all monitoring equipment ensuring that all issues are reported appropriately to the management staff. The GSOC Supervisor will conduct a periodic review of all operational materials and equipment and advise management of anomalies.

    Role Responsibility:

    Specific Duties and Essential Functions
    • Use internal and external systems (internet, news-feeds, and other data source) to monitor risks that could have an adverse impact to organizational assets, facilities and personnel
    • Develop and manage communications to key stakeholders throughout an incident life-cycle
    • Collect, analyze, and share intelligence to support corporate investigations
    • Leverage technology, reporting, and investigative skills to respond to requests, initiate and resolve cases
    • Provide case documentation by gathering, organizing, and preparing intelligence and evidence
    • Perform key access control functions, to include updating employee access levels, configuring access levels, and running access control reports
    • Responsible for product deliverables for GSOC Operator and Analyst
    • Follow procedures accordingly as it relates to best practices, directives, and standard operating procedures
    • Help to develop the GSOC Training Program and Analyst Certification Process.
    • Develop and implement quality control measures for GSOC deliverables
    • Assist the GSOC Manager in delivering, executing and measuring the success of leadership directives
    • Responsible for making sure that the Post Order (PO) Manual and all other post, training information, and fire/life/safety documents are being properly maintained and updated, and that the Post is being properly maintained, cleaned and organized
    • Responsible for creation and maintaining of GSOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Responsible for GSOC scheduling, working with Account Manager to minimize NBOT and perform disciplinary actions as needed.
    • Responsible for quality control of all GSOC products and reports
    • Imparts recommendations to help the GSOC mature and operate more effectively
    The Ideal Candidate:

    Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
    • Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Officer License issued by the State of California
    Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
    • A minimum of two (2) years of working in a corporate security, intelligence or emergency operations center
    Skills Required
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Active listening skills
    • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
    • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
    • Attention to detail
    • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
    • Must be able to work flexible schedules including some nights and weekends
    • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
    • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
    Physical Requirements and Environment

    Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

    Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

    Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
