In this role as the Supply Planner, you will provide support to a high growth area within the SPS strategic business group. This role will be responsible to build a deep understanding of the areas influencing supply, including all aspects of finished goods and raw material capacity, for a group of high visibility products. The position will play a key function within the full visibility and control of the product from demand through distribution.
Responsible to ensure that goods, materials, services and company operational needs are met, to ensure continuity of supply. You will hold responsibility for a specific project/region/business. You will directly interact with internal stakeholders to identify and remediate capacity constraints, as well as to meet inventory targets.
The ideal candidate will have expertise and knowledge-base in federal/regulatory guidelines, with emphasis on DPAS regulation.Key Responsibilities
Develop and communicate the Supply Plan
Develop planning strategies
Deliver on customer needs
Identify cost reduction opportunities
Review and monitor production and purchase orders
Manage operational performance goals
Understand market trends
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Ensure compliance with strategic Planning requirements
Project managementYOU MUST HAVE
2 years Supply Planning experienceWE VALUE
Understanding of federal/regulatory guidelines including DPAS
Strong communication skills and a team player
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize solving problems
Experience in a functional Planning environment
Fluent with use of MRP Planning tools
Good technical knowledge of SIOP process
