    Robotics CAD Analyst (Supporting NASA at Johnson Space Center)

    International Space Station (ISS) Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) Robotics Analyst. The robotics analyst job function consists of modeling 3D CAD (Creo) graphics of the ISS environment, processing the Robotic Mobile Servicing System (MSS) reconfiguration files, and maintaining the Robotics Planning System (RPS) which is utilized by the robotic flight controllers to develop trajectories and procedures to perform robotic operations such as visiting vehicle track and capture and release, ground controlled ISS maintenance, and robotic supported astronaut space walks. 3D CAD graphics and products are also developed and provided to the Power Resource Officer (PRO) and Communications RF Onboard Networks Utilization Specialist (CRONUS) flight controllers. Certification is required for the analyst to support these tasks in support of mission development and real time ISS operations.

    Qualifications: BS Degree in Engineering or a related science.

    The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to work well in a team environment and develop high-quality, detailed CAD models and documentation. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to focus on details and to plan, prioritize, and coordinate tasks and resolve issues within a team environment. Availability for on call and minimal analysis console support is required. Some domestic and international travel is required.
