    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    The Miyashiro Lab seekshighly motivatedundergraduate researchers who are interested in bacterial symbiont diversity involvingquorum-sensing systems, bioinformatics and phylogenetic analysis. During this Summer position, the applicant will collaborate remotely with senior lab members to generate and analyze data for their project while developing computational skills using the appropriate software. Researchers are expected to introduce testable predictions that lead to established models presented at the end of their period.
