    Lead Salesforce Implementation Specialist - the role:

    The Lead Salesforce Implementation Specialist provides technical strategy and direction to ensure the Salesforce CRM application aligns with and meets business requirements. This individual will lead the overall management of the system and will provide best practices and recommendations for integration and application development, deployment, and iterative refinement. In addition, the Lead Salesforce Implementation Specialist will participate in process improvement analysis and supporting all applications installed in the CRM including DocuSign, contract applications, and other plugins.

    Job responsibilities:
    • Lead system architecture structure management, security and maintenance
    • Analyze existing interdepartmental processes to determine and prioritize strategic business requirements, standardizations and designs
    • Ability to administer all avenues of Salesforce, including various cloud versions and Lightning UI
    • Develop and provide end user training for new and existing users
    • Automate and improve data reporting, quality, and governance while providing expertise in effective daily, weekly and monthly reporting, dashboard and metric design
    • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users, at all levels
    • Evangelize and drive user adoption across the organization to ensure a successful rollout
    • Implement enhancements and roll out new features. Execute solution design activities such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design and rule logic definition in the context of the Salesforce application
    • Review and understand general organization drivers and context for development projects and assist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce features to business processes.
    • Oversee the feature request/support backlog and work with the leadership team to prioritize and execute on initiatives
    Additional job responsibilities:
    • Analysis, designs, configures, develops, tests and implements applications
    • Design, analyze, configure, develop, test and implement applications
    • Integrate CRM with other systems to support operational efficiency
    • Support and drive new projects and initiatives to further develop the CRM implementation and adoption
    • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process
    • Act as the technical interface between IT, business users and vendors/partners
    • Manage ongoing production support requests and administrative needs of users
    • Train and support end-users on existing functionality and new features
    • Commit to self-lead continuous training to keep up with ever-changing technology and product releases
    • Provide both on-site and remote support
    • Data Management - bulk migration and maintenance
    • Manages outsourced Salesforce implementation partners (consultants) as required
    • Extends application and user interface using Salesforce programming languages
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Identify available/current functionalities within Salesforce
    • Standardization of Salesforce.com reports and dashboards across the organization
    • Standardize, clean and align existing data
    • Manage mass imports, exports and updates of data using the Data Loader
    • Works with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions
    • Owner of the Salesforce environment and primary Salesforce administrator for the ES business unit
    • Create training all Standard Operating Procedures and process guides for processes built in the CRM
    • Create training material for general use and navigation of the CRM
    To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
    • 5+ years of experience implementing and/or administering Salesforce
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Project
    • Ability to travel; travel could be 50% or higher
    • 3+ years managing business data with a demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a matrix environment
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Ability to work with multiple customers simultaneously
    • Ability to provide one-on-one consultative customer training
    • Basic understanding of business process design principles, business process management tools and workflow automation design skills
    • Project management/governance skills
    • Strong problem solving, proactive thinking and analytical skills, self-motivated, independent worker
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
