    Job Description

    Field Service Technician

    Position Highlights:
    • Field Service Technician is responsible for providing service following established service level agreements and IT industry standards
    The Ideal Candidate
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and comfortable adjusting to changing priorities
    • Self directed and detailed oriented with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
    • Hardware troubleshooting and support, including equipment replacements and relocations

      Diagnose and repair hardware issues

      Set up, move and remove equipment

      Manage day-to-day ticket volume
    • Software troubleshooting and support including installations

      Diagnose and repair software issues

      Install, upgrade, and remove software applications

      Manage licenses for installed applications
    • Documenting procedures, resolutions and training material

      Document steps taken to resolve issues
    • Corresponding with customers

      Clearly and effectively communicate with customers via email, phone, instant message and in person

      Document all customer contact in the appropriate ticket
    • Proactive rounding and remediation

      Regularly visit assigned area(s) and observe issues

      Log and resolve observed issues
    • Maintaining fiscal responsibility

      Minimize unnecessary spending by reusing hardware and minimizing waste

      Effectively manage commercial software licenses
    Credentials and Qualifications

    Minimum Required - HS diploma/GED
    • Two (2)years experience with a variety of computer hardware including:

      PC desktops and laptops, apple desktops and laptops, mobile devices such as tablets and cell phones, printers and scanners, wired and wireless networking, related peripheral
    • Two (2) years experience with a variety of computer software including:

      Microsoft Windows 10, microsoft office 365, apple MacOs and IOs
    • Two (2) years experience with IT operations, including:

      Ticket management
    • Lifecycle management
    Preferred: Associate's Degree - Computer Science/Information Systems or a related major
    • MCP certification
    • Experience providing IT support in a healthcare environment.
    • Experience supporting ThinOs/Zero OS VDI devices in a VMWare environment
