    Woodhaven is growing and offering new services to our clients. This growth leads us to needing additional Substance Abuse Counselors for our Dayton, Ohio residential AoD facility.     Woodhaven, a CARF accredited organization, is a leader in treatment for individuals struggling with opioid or other addictions. With full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and a 14 day medication taper to ease the detox process, we treat the client's entire problem, not just a piece of it.

    Position Characteristics

    The Counselor I is a counseling professional who provides treatment and support to assist clients receiving care in their recovery from addictions,including drug and alcohol. Our residential program provides individual and group counseling sessions.

    • Counselor I - Dependent upon assignment - provide one on one and/or group sessions
    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in human services or social work from an accredited college or university for Counselor I positions
    • Licenses/Certifications:- LCDC II, LCDC III, LSW or higher for Counselor I

    LCDC II or LSW level credentials required. Experience with substance abuse treatment and recovery, a plus.
