    As Product Director, Women's Health you will be vital to our success and drive future growth. In this product role you will develop and execute new product strategies that reach broad and diverse audiences and realize accelerated growth potential. This role will be responsible to work across the Women's Health portfolio to influence and execute on a new product strategy for partnerships and reseller models. The role will coordinate across Women's Health product leads to identify areas of opportunity, research potential partnerships and opportunities with niche companies in the market, and outline new approaches to hitting growth targets (new revenue channels, new products, and new go to market approaches) for new business opportunities. This role will also be responsible for execution on Women's Health strategic initiatives tied to enhancing existing products and building out new and exciting digital products that are best-in-market.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with cross-organizational stakeholders, including limited interaction with executive leadership, on strategic priorities. Translate strategic priorities into actionable project plans
    • Research the competitive environment and effectively consult and execute on strategic long range plan goals for the Women's Health lines of business
    • Work with stakeholders to hit growth accelerators in both the internal and external environments tied to new product partnerships, reseller models, and digital build enhancements
    • Deliver on strategic recommendations to build an enhanced digital solution that is engaging and delivers value, navigating ambiguity to build a path forward through the ideate and define phases, and support and guide agile development teams throughout the build and launch phases
    • Build out a direct to consumer channel to execute on growth
    • Inform and influence the strategic direction across multiple cross-functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment
    • Drive product and program enhancements that deliver an end-to-end value story that is better than the competition for outcomes, savings, and satisfaction, delivering a minimum of 2.5:1 ROI for customers
    • Lead cross-business segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and collaboration to achieve optimal results and financial outcomes
    • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business, operational, and vendor challenges or limitations
    • Partner with CX and tech teams to oversee and influence all digital build activities across multiple platforms and digital assets (apps, webpages, etc.) to ensure a good user experience
    • Influence innovation across teams to ensure aligned; cohesive progress across multiple areas including technology, marketing, and service operations
    • Connects and listens to Key stakeholders. Leverages the total company resources available to achieve targets and consumer satisfaction

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of Product Management/ Product development experience including implementation of innovative, digital products
    • Proven ability to create and execute on strategic plans to build new products and exceed growth targets in a highly competitive and changing environment
    • Experience in new product development (accelerate process)
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively message, position and present information for client impact and influence
    • Proven ability to operate and effectively navigate in a highly complex, matrix environment
    • Ability to successfully negotiate complex internal operating environments with a high level of collaboration
    • Demonstrated track record of active collaboration, engagement, oversight and strategy development of key growth opportunities
    • Excellent presentation skills with the expertise and sophistication needed to credibly represent Optum in the context of the company's values and quality commitments
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications (minimum of 5 years' experience)
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Graduate degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA)
    • Consultation background preferred
    • Experience with digital products, user experience, and app development
    • Experience working collaboratively at all levels and across business lines using influencing skills
    • Expertise in Women's Health programs such as Maternity, Infertility, or OB Homecare, and Neonatal
