    Title:

    Systems Engineer
    KBR is seeking a Systems Engineer to support tasking for the United States Marine Corps Combat Development Command and Combat Development and Integration in Quantico, VA, the Office of Naval Research and the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Patuxent River, MD. Candidate will provide support to the USMC, PMA 266 and PMA 263 program offices performing primarily systems engineering related tasks and other general analyses and support. Candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks for the government customer to include requirements analysis and traceability, conduct Analyses of Alternatives, Technology Readiness Level analyses, recommended course(s) of action, drafting acquisition documentation such as ECPs, SOWs, IFCs etc. and recommended issue resolution. Candidate will interface with a variety of integrated team personnel.

    Education: A bachelor's degree in an engineering or other scientific or technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. An advanced degree, particularly Systems or Electrical Engineering, desired. Graduate of USN or USAF TPS a strong plus. Experience: A minimum of twelve (12) years of demonstrated experience in a combination of aircraft test, acquisition and systems engineering and/or military operations required. Experience with, and knowledge of, the DoD acquisition cycle and methodology, systems engineering technical review cycle, engineering change proposal development, specification and statement of work development, interim flight clearance and NATOPS/NATIP (or equivalent) development required. Demonstrated experience at NAVAIR strongly desired. Military aviation (manned or unmanned) experience strongly desired. Familiarity with NAVAIR finance processes and procedures desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate must be able to perform research, provide analysis, document findings and determinations and provide associated recommendations. Knowledge of USN correspondence development practices and the ability to write formal engineering reports and construct briefing materials using MS Office tools such as Word, Power Point and Excel required. Familiarity with MS Project required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multitasking team environment.
