    Penn State Beaver's Project and Supply Chain Management program is seeking to hire part-time instructors to teachMIS 404 Introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) andBusinessProcessesandSCM 301 Introduction toSupplyChainManagementthis fall.

    • MIS 404explains and demonstrates how the main supply chain management processes such as accounting, sales, logistics, production/material management, procurement, are supported in an ERP software package. This course is part of theSystems, Applications and Products (SAP)certification and includes knowledge and simulation related to the functioning of processes within the different SAP modules. Materials to design and develop the course, as well as additional resources, will be provided by the SAP University Alliances (to which the instructor will be given full access). The course is delivered via a blended format (50% face-to-face on Tuesdays from 1:35-2:50 pm, and 50% via video conferencing and asynchronous delivery.Use of Zoomand video conferencingis required.
    • SCM 301 provides an overview of key logistics and supply chain management processes, concepts, and methodologies to students enrolled in both project and supply chain management and other business degrees. It covers the main aspects related to demand management, inventory management, and design of the supply chain network (supplier, production, and distribution).The course is delivered face-to-face on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:05-10:20 am.

    A master`s degree in an appropriate discipline(operations, logistics, and/or supply chain management)from an accredited institution is required and prior teaching experiencewith remotesynchronous andasynchronousdelivery skills isstrongly preferred. A teaching demonstration may be required as part of the on-campus interview.
