    Job Description:

    L3Harris corporation is seeking a dynamic System Administrator to perform critical system design and implementation in unique and challenging programs. The selected candidate will be part of an exclusive national security program and work on the design, development, deployment, and O&M for critical wireless, infrastructure and/or communication programs. Bring your talents to the front line at the cutting edge of Defense and Technology at L3Harris. Typical System Administrator responsibilities include the following:
    • Configure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot VMWare
    • Configure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems
    • Establish and maintain up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices
    • Conduct weekly cybersecurity system audits
    • Lead efforts to field changes to production systems to a schedule
    • Address and detect issues that impact projects and implement/develop courses of action (COAs) to mitigate or alleviate the impact to projects
    • Support critical operations during standard and non-standard working hours
    • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, orGraduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or equivalent
    • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. CCNA-Security, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCP)
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
    Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph is preferred
    • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (e.g. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH)
    • Technical experience with MS Windows and Solaris
    • Experience with configuration, management, and administration of Oracle Databases
    • Experience with configuration, management, and administration of Puppet, Nexus Repositories, SolarWinds Network Tools, and Splunk Enterprise
    • Experience with configuration, management, and administration of Cross Domain Solutions, IBM Datapower, and F5 appliances
    • System configuration experience with Enterprise Identity Management tools (LDAP, IPA, etc.)
    • Experience with installation, configuration, management, and administration of multiple COTS and FOSS SW products
    • Experience with installation and administration of DevOps Tools, e.g. Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
    • Experience in VM life-cycle management (snapshots)
    • Experience leading small teams
    • Experience with thin client systems accessing server-based architecture
    • Experience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, auditing
    • Experience with configuration, management, and administration of Oracle Databases
    • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. Security+CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
    • Working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • System configuration experience with NetApp
    • Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers
    • Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment
    • ICD 503 or DCID 6/3 experience
    • Ability to travel up to 10%
