You will be accountable for leading our IT strategy and assuring effective IT delivery for Event Services within Honeywell. You will be the primary interface to all our Strategic Business Groups' Leaders, for defining Video Conferencing Rooms standards, requirements, and driving execution of growth and productivity solutions enabled through existing and emerging Information Technology. You will be a key member of the Event Services Leadership Team, engaging in all aspects of running the business, with a specialization in the use of Conferencing Management technology to fulfill business objectives. In addition, you will fully drive the IT Technology Leadership role at our future Headquarters in Charlotte. Key Responsibilities:
Make a true showcase of Honeywell on Honeywell
Drive and manage end to end technology leadership in Printers, Wireless, AV
Business showcase in EBC
Develop Video Conferencing Rooms business' IT strategy
Recommend IT solution roadmaps
Set local IT priorities
Drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance/cyber safety
Manage expenses to IT Annual Operating Plan
Run MOS for solution delivery
Provide IT updates to business
Educate business on technology
Manage IT professionalsCORPIT2020YOU MUST HAVE:
High School Diploma/GED Completed
Minimum 7+ years of experience with IT/Video Conferencing support and delivery WE VALUE:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
AV (audio and Video) management, digital signage, unified communications and VC technologies preferred
Strong communication, influencing, and change management skills
Deep understanding of technology practices with strong business acumen and customer focus
Conveys information with clarity, ensuring messages are understood across diverse, global teams
Ability to translate new technology into business value
Creative and collaborative problem-solving skills
Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity
Mentor and guide peers on emerging technologies
Conveys specific, observable, and measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding on deliverables and timeframes
