    BD is looking for a strong, dynamic marketer to drive growth in BD's cervical cancer diagnostics franchise and support regional launches of transformational reagents and instrument platforms. The Global Marketing Manager for Cytology will be responsible for global downstream marketing within BD's Cytology portfolio in support of key laboratory global markets including the US, Europe, Latin America and select global markets. Reporting to the global Business Line Leader, he/she will work jointly with the business leader, WW downstream and upstream marketing teams, scientific and medical affairs, service, and regional marketing teams to develop and execute successful commercialization strategies for our current portfolio of cytology reagents and the instrumentation to support multiple customer segments and regions.Additionally, he/she will work closely with the WW Product Manager to support the life cycle management of on-market products as well as the WW Marketing Managers for Women's Health and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) assays and our high-throughput automation platform in developing a solutions-based approach for BD's Women's Health & Cancer diagnostic franchise.He/she will be responsible for developing key insights into market opportunities, creating solutions to commercial barriers, shaping the market for our solutions, and executing strategies to drive financial performance. He/she will be the brand owner for the BD SurePathTM Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) portfolio and BD TotalysTM System.

    Responsibilities:

    oDevelop a deep understanding of the Cervical Cancer Screening markets, including customer needs, market atlas, market trends, technology trends, clinical management, and reimbursement.

    oManage the LBC Screening portfolio, including identification, planning, and execution of market research, collateral, campaigns, and digital marketing (web and email) to drive brand awareness and value messages in collaboration with regional partners.

    oAdvancement of solutions across the STI and Women's Health & Cancer portfolio of products, managed by Marketing Manager within business team.

    oDevelop comprehensive market shaping including evidence generation and dissemination, customer and sales training, and KOL strategy.

    oDevelop annual global marketing plan and set of global marketing and sales tools/assets to support regional commercialization.

    oDevelop and roll out training on sales tools/assets to regional marketers, including training effectiveness checks.

    oPartner with regional marketing leaders to review customer targeting and sales funnels, monitor monthly financial performance, and proactively adjust marketing plans and tactics to meet strategic objectives and deliver on financial performance.

    oCollaborate with regional marketing leaders to plan and support key international conferences.

    oDevelop deep knowledge of the customer experience from customer opportunity identification through implementation and support the regional marketing teams with strategies to maximize

    oIn collaboration with WW Upstream Marketing team determine and prioritize key unmet needs and opportunities, lead business cases development, and drive product and solution definition for future offerings.

    oIn Region collaboration and support requiring approximately 30% global travel.

    Position Requirements:

    oRequires a BS (Life Science discipline strongly preferred), MBA in Marketing or Business is strongly preferred.

    oRequires seven-ten (7-10) years of marketing and/or sales experience. Preference for medical technology, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industry experience, with ideal experience including Women's Health or infectious diseases

    oStrong business and financial acumen are desired.

    oExperience with Marketing Excellence initiatives is desired.

    International work experience is preferred.
