    RN - Team Leader

Companion Hospice in Arcadia, CA is currently seeking to add a Full-Time RN Team Leader to join our team due to the continues growth. As the program Companion is the leading organization that provides Hospice, Home Health, and Palliative Care. Our patients come first and our employees are our most important asset!

    Responsible for the supervision of direct patient care services and the interdisciplinary team component of the agency program and for the planning, coordination, and supervision of delivery of care to patients/families.

    Registered Nurse - RN

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A current state of employment Nursing license (RN)

    • Managers must have a minimum of 3 years of Supervisor role

    • At least two years of relevant experience in hospice, home health, or community health experience within the past five years.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of terminal care with specific expertise in crisis intervention, family counseling, and staff supervision.
    • Demonstrated skill in administrative performance, including expertise in oral and written communication, staff supervision, managing documentation, and service coordination.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute a supportive, sensitive approach to staff and patients and families.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A Tuberculin Skin Test or chest x-ray within six months prior to employment or within 14 days of the date of employment and every year thereafter.
    • A health examination within six months prior to employment or within 14 days of the date of employment.
    • A reliable automobile.
    • Valid drivers license with maintenance of good driving record and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with state and/or Companion.
    • Evidence of automobile insurance.
    • Clear Criminal Background.
