This Postdoctoral Fellowship is focused in Gene editing and Tissue engineering for cutting edge science. The postdoc will be responsible for leading development and working with technicians in the lab to create and culture CRISPR/Cas9 edited cells for the creation of 3D human equivalent tissues. Primary Job Requirements:
- Completion of a Ph.D. in molecular biology or similar field
- Strong background in CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing, including gene design and construction, editing efficiency characterization, clonal selection, verification of edits
- Background in mammalian cell culture
- Experience in running and analyzing DNA sequencing analyses
- Experience in phenotypic analyses (IHC, Western Blot, ELISA, qRTPCR)
- Ability to work independently, and to plan and execute complex long term research projects
- Strong record of productivity, motivation, and adaptability
- Ability to work collaboratively with excellent oral and written communication skills
