    Desktop Support Technician
    Location: Corpus Christi, TX
    Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

    TOP REQUIREMENTS:
    * 5 or more years of experience in Desktop Support capacity
    * 5 or more years of experience in a customer service role
    * Must have reliable transportation

    What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
    - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktop, laptop, and tablet devices
    - Prioritize workload based on service level agreements
    - Use remote control tool to assist end users when needed
    - Provide detailed and accurate documentation on incidents and service requests worked within ticket tracking system
    - Demonstrate a depth and breadth of knowledge/skills in own area and is often able to apply these outside of own function
    - Act as a technical resource to others to resolve problems, errors, or other related issues
    - Anticipate customer needs and proactively identifies solutions
    - Plan, prioritize, organize and complete work to meet established objectives

    What skills/attributes are a must have?
    * 5 or more years of experience in Desktop Support roles
    * 5 or more years of experience in a customer service role
    * 2 or more years of Technology Support experience at Tier 2 level
    * 5 or more years of experience with MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    * Must have reliable transportation
    * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of computers or other IT equipment

    What skills/attributes are nice to have?
    * Bachelor's Degree or higher level of education preferred
    * CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
    * Experience with Networking Principles, Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
