    Job Description

    Exchange System Administrator

    Job Responsibilities:

    Desired skills include Office 365 and Exchange

    Ensure the stability, availability and reliability of the Systems in production environment. Specific deliverable include daily ticket/work request handling and event management in terms of overall availability/performance. The main projects include upgrading from MS 2010/2013 to MS 2016.

    3+ years' experience in information technology including working knowledge of ITIL best practices and demonstrated experience with implementing and operating systems within these frameworks

    3+ years working as a Systems Engineer or Administrator

    3+ years' experience managing supportability and troubleshooting the availability of applications, systems, and servers for high availability enterprise systems

    Considerable troubleshooting skills

    A basic working knowledge of various technologies within area of discipline

    Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Ability to test and document the results of testing for the technology supported

    Strong analytical and organizational skills

    Education:

    Both Education and Certifications are nice to have.

    Required Experience & Skills:

    Office 365 Exchange

    MS 2013 & 2016
    VMWare is strongly desired
    Active Directory required

    VMWare of other virtualization experience

    Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Servers

    Other Skills:
    Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization. Ability to work on projects both independently and in a team environment. Ability to troubleshoot issues within all aspects of Information Technology. Ability to deal with a rapid and fast paced changing environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills. Ability to manage and deliver multiple project phases at the same time, and able to manage ongoing operational issues with longer term strategic work.
