Technologist - Surgical - MD Surgeons Center of Columbia - PRN Days - Little Patuxent Pkwy-Columbia - Columbia, MD
The Maryland Surgeons Center of Columbia is seeking a Surgical Technologist to work in a per-diem position at our free-standing surgery center. We care for approximately 80 patients per month utilizing our state-of-the-art operating room and procedure room. The majority of our cases include general surgery and plastic surgery. We provide services Monday through Friday and there is no on-call responsibility with this position.Why Join Ascension?

As an Associate with St. Agnes Healthcare - MD, you will have the opportunity to facilitatethe safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.Responsibilities:
What You Will NeedLicenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
- Hands required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
- Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
- Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.
- Assists surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.
Education &Work Experience:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA).
