    Job Purpose:

    The VP of Digital Content is a critical business function for Sodexo, driving sales leads, increasing awareness and managing the reputation of the company within the NORAM region. This role will serve as the lead storyteller, artistic director and data-driven expert in our digital space, calling on years of experience and a deep understanding of what stories to tell, how to tell them and how to ensure they are effectively disseminated. The goal of the position is to build a best-in-class digital content team consisting of content developers, channel and community managers and data-driven digital content experts who can maximize promotional spend. As this is the first such position in Sodexo, this leader will also share learnings and develop trainings for the rest of the organization. This position reports to the SVP for Brand & Communications.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality, engaging and actionable content that meets the needs of our target audience(s).
    • Align content and channel strategies with business goals and drive MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead), awareness and reputational targets, with a robust content publishing strategy to facilitate testing for personas, user behaviors, key messages and other KPI variables.
    • Collaborate between Brand & Communications, Marketing and Sales, and key content partners at the regional and global levels to coordinate a digital content experience that prioritizes the client and prospect, without ignoring brand awareness and reputational management needs.
    • Champion training, learning and development of the digital team and Sodexo leadership, and regularly evaluate systems, tools and processes to ensure continuous improvement, agility and collaboration.
    • Centralize content creation and promotion under a unified strategy and iterative process, that begins and ends with data.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 10-15 years of well-rounded digital content marketing experience with proven growth
    • Strong data and technical proficiency in Google Analytics and BI tools. Working knowledge of Search Console and Google Ads a plus
    • Considerable experience working in a web CMS
    • Expertise in social media strategy and analytics (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
    • Deep understanding of digital content creation, dissemination and strategy
    • Previous work leading either a B2C or B2B2C communications team
    • History of exceptional presentation and communications skills working with C-level leaders
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Understanding of the hospitality, food service or facilities management business
    • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, Master's Degree preferred
