The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Information Network Engineer at Fort Meade, MD. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command's (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Job Summary
The Network Engineer candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer infrastructures with emphasis on networking. Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include on-site servers, software-network interactions as well as network integrity/resilience are the key areas of focus. A network engineer is a technology professional who has the necessary skills to plan, implement and oversee the computer networks that support in-house voice, data, video and wireless network services. The candidate will be expected to facilitate planning, design and identify technical specifications for all equipment. Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI cleared with current Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 10+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience with networking
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco, including switching and routing
- 4+ years of experience with fiber optic capabilities and usage and network management applications
- 1+ years of experience with Juniper, including switching and routing
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA A+
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise.
