Mayo Employee Federal Credit Union
Applies professional office expertise, exercising initiative and proficient organizational skills to perform a wide variety of office/clerical duties in support of all Credit Union member investment activities. This position will be in a fast paced, time-sensitive brokerage sales environment where one must anticipate and carry out independent actions necessary to provide competent and professional secretarial support to meet the needs of the investment representative(s), management, administrators, board and committee members, coworkers and members. Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling questions, phone calls, appointments, etc., of principals.
Requires formal training in a secretarial/office/business field through technical school or college, or equivalent experience. Must have computer experience and a minimum of one year of successful office, business or secretarial experience. Two years of successful office, business or secretarial experience preferred. Current Mayo Employee Federal Credit Union employees meeting performance standards may also be considered in lieu of experience. Must possess proficiency on technical office equipment, including a computer for word processing and other applications, printer, phone system, duplicating machine, and/or any other job specific office technology.
Requires strong organizational skills, superior clerical aptitude including the office practices of data input, filing, handling mail, preparation of charts, spreadsheets, reports, agendas and member communication, spreadsheets/graphs/charts/slides/overheads, Internet/Intranet applications and/or other job specific documents. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail and be a highly accurate professional. Must maintain strict confidentiality of information and must exhibit good human relations skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and professionally to build rapport with others at all levels of responsibility. Must be adaptable/flexible in a changing work environment, which requires upgrading of skills.
License or certification
Series 7 and Series 63 Securities Licenses and MN State Insurance License preferred, or the ability and willingness to obtain licensures within 2 years.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $18.76 per hour.
Hours / Pay period
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
