    SAIC has an immediate need for a Software Support Liaison to support the Medusa program onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The candidate will facilitate software requirements elicitation sessions to document, analyze, and design to identify and recommend process improvement in business process and business flows. The candidate will formulate, define and document organizational workflow for the as is and to be process models to capture user needs, business systems and industry requirements. The candidate will review business changes and ensure efficient and comprehensive translation into functional software requirements. Devise/modify procedures to solve complex problems considering technical equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results; include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:
    • BS and 5+ years of experience (4 years' experience accepted in lieu of degree)
    REQUIRED SKILLS:
    • Skilled in software business process modeling, analysis and design tools and business process management automation technologies
    • Experience in working on projects that leverage agile development with frequent releases
    • Experience with configuration management and data management activities in support of a major system delivery
    • Experience with configuration management and data management activities required for all phases of a system, from development, through operations
    • Experience in working as a member of a project team assisting in the identification and documentation of risks and the development/implementation of effective mitigation strategies
    • Experience in serving in a trusted advisor, objective third-party capacity to federal clients, providing consulting services and thought leadership
    • Experience with both functional and system requirements elicitation and use case documentation
    • Demonstrated success writing technical documents
    • Strong writing skills, including understanding of grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, and active/passive voice
    • Ability to work independently, requiring little oversight/direction
    • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a high degree of organization in order to support multiple concurrent projects
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Other assigned support duties
    REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
    • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
