•be a hands-on lead of a team which provides day to day support for over thirty applications used by front and middle office users in the Equity Cash business
•actively participate in incident and problem management in the production environment
•communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders
•be responsible for the day to day management and operations of a team of application support analysts based in US
•participate in special events such as disaster recovery tests, infrastructure change weekends, or exchange-mandated market rehearsals
•be responsible for Major Incident Management, Problem Management and Request Management for applications in your area
•report on team performance and KPIs and develop recommendations and run with ad-hoc projects to improve quality of service
•be an escalation point for the business, team and regional leads.

You'll be working in the Equities Cash US Production Support team in New York. Our team is responsible for supporting a suite of order management, sales facilitation, post trade and risk management applications used by the Equity Cash business. They are not only first point of contact for the end users, but also responsible for providing L2 support of the application suite.
•Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
•experience in leading a medium size team ( at least 5 people )
•a natural ability to solve complex issues
•strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
•the ability to prioritize incidents and requests effectively
•knowledge of the ITIL service management framework for incident and problem management
•focus on providing clear and easy to understand documentation
•strong Linux/Unix, FIX protocol and SQL skills
•knowledge in Equities Cash business flows
•a confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
•capable of understanding client/end users and translating this into problem statement for further investigation within IT
•driven and highly motivated to maintain a very high quality of service
•a self-starter and team player
