Oversees daily Public Area operations within corporate and resort guidelines to insure quality standards to insure total guest satisfaction.
Supervise and motivate all Housekeeping personnel with daily supervision to include staffing, training, discipline, scheduling and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. On a monthly basis complete assigned projects and keep written track of progress.
Communicate with guests and team members both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction in advising and instructing staff in details of work, organize, conduct and or attend meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Westgate resorts from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

This position supervises entry level personnel in the Housekeeping Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; assist managers with rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems Prepare reports for accidents and update on emergency/ safety procedures

Must be flexible on scheduling which will vary from 5-8 hour shifts to 4-10 hour shifts. Must be available to work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years verifiable supervisory experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other team members of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must be able to resolve conflicts and delegate responsibility.
