    Duty Title

    Senior Staff for CFO Act Compliance

    Tasks

    Oversight of Financial Improvement and CFO Act Compliance

    Purpose

    Oversight for analysis, recommendations, development, and execution of a strategy for CFO Act compliance and Improvements for Air Force classified
    programs

    Duties may include

    Senior oversight of Audit Readiness program which includes;
    • Document the Business Process and Internal Controls
    • Substantive and Analytical Procedures Logistics
    • Asset Accountability Implementation
    • Asset Accountability Implementation Strategy Asset Accountability
    • Asset Valuation and Tracking
    • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others
    Experience

    > 8 years DoD Financials

    >4 years Project Management of CFO Compliance including coordination 'between disciplines (e.g. Acquisition, Logistics, Financial Reporting, etc.) in a similar sized enterprise

    > 2 years of auditing or audit readiness management experience

    Education

    4 Year Degree in accounting field or 5+ years' experience in field

    Certifications

    None required

    Security Clearance

    Top Secret/ SCI, JAFAN eligible

    Other Requirements
    • In depth knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • In depth knowledge and understanding of GAO Yellow book
    • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
    • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic AOR
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
    • Ability to develop and perform CFO compliance presentations
    • Supervisory experience
