    Under the administrative supervision of the Director of Health Information Management, Intermountain Medical Group, the HIM Clerk performs qualitative and quantitative chart analysis, while safeguarding the confidentiality of all patient-related information.

    Six (6) months to one (1) year of prior experience working with Health Information procedures required. Using general office equipment such as scanners, computers, printers, microfilm reader/printer, fax, copier, telephones etc. Demonstrates good written/verbal communication, organizational skills and teaching ability. High degree of clerical accuracy; highly organized; statistically and data oriented; teaching ability; good interpersonal relationship skills especially with medical staff; process-oriented; multi-tracked; tolerance for ambiguity; closely supervises; communication skills; find the fastest way to get things done with a high degree of accuracy.
