    Job Description

    Primarily responsible for performing patient examinations according to the departmental protocol. Responsible for a specialty area and may function as a specialty staff technologist in two or more specialty areas as deemed competent. Demonstrates the knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirement relative to his or her needs and to provide the care as described in the departments policies and procedures.

    Experience:

    Radiation Safety; Infection Control; Medication management; Radiologic Positioning and Technique specific to LRMC; Sterile technique; Operation of radiographic equipment at LRMC. May be required to participate in a rotating call schedule

    Licenses/Certificates:

    Current ARRT registry in Radiology

    Current Texas medical Radiologic Technology license

    Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
