    Job Description

    The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is responsible for delivering high quality health care during all aspects of diagnostic and interventional catheterization, both cardiac and peripheral. The Registered Nurse is clinically competent and delivers care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation, and patient education and discharge planning needs. The Registered Nurse effectively interacts with patients, physicians, health care team members and vendors while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The Registered Nurse will be involved with a patient population of adults through geriatrics. Reports to the Director of Cardiology.
