Under the direction of Materials Management/ Receiving Director and Manager, the Store Keeper is responsible for all functions pertaining to centralized receiving at the RRUMC and Medical Plazas. The responsibilities include accepting deliveries, verifying quantities, signing acceptance and data entry utilizing the Materials Management computer system. Responsible for the completion of the receiving process as it pertains to distribution of supplies and equipment. Supplies and equipment will be delivered in a timely manner adhering to delivery schedule procedures and end user accepting signatures are to be obtained. Responsible for following the protocols for returned merchandise. Documentation for receiving, returning and shipping will be properly completed. Maintenance of the receiving departments filing systems is essential.

Must be a High School Graduate with a minimum of 1 year in a healthcare setting and Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience is required. Must be skilled in reading and writing and standard English text. This includes being skilled in speaking clearly and distinctly to obtain and convey information to individuals at various levels of the organization. Must be skilled with copy machines and working with a desktop computer. Must be able to push and pull 100 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds. You must be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of proper lifting and carrying techniques sustaining a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers. Maintain a positive attitude and behavior and adapt to changes in the workload. Must be able to work variable, rotating shifts.
