    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GBSD Engineering Technician 4. This position will be located in Roy, UT or Brigham City, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

    The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space Systems team supporting the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This position is responsible for integration and checkout of System Test equipment hardware, software and systems for various system test facilities.

    The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers.

    Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Read and understand engineering documentation that applies to laboratory setup and integration. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.


    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:
    Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience
    Prior experience in an integration, production, manufacturing or test environment
    Experience with common hand tools and test equipment found in an integration, production, manufacturing or test environment

    Preferred Qualifications:
    US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance
    Able to support shift work and occasional travel as needed
    Be an experienced Technician possessing skills in the following areas:
    Soldering, Wire harness assembly, Mechanical assembly, using basic electronic test equipment

    Travel is expected up to 25% of the time. Work site location may be different than office location for the first 12-24 months of the job
