    Job role and responsibilities:

    Project Management position involves managing and overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing GBSD program Support Equipment (SE) projects. Serves as liaison between project engineers, internal and external organizations such as Global Supply Chain (GSC), suppliers and management team. Liaises with GSC and suppliers to understand and resolve technical engineering issues associated with delivery of SE hardware.

    Provides financial control and maintenance of budgets including EVMS indices and Variance Explanations as a member of the Control Account Manager team. Will be proficient and knowledgeable in managing labor and material dollars across multiple contracts for Support Equipment EVMS weekly and monthly deliverables. General understanding of Cost and Material accounting including knowledge of General Ledger accounts, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, networks and Material Master is preferred.

    Prepares and manages schedules and prepares status reports on the health of the projects. Identifies risks and opportunities and coordinates with project teams to mitigate and retire risks. Develops and maintains SE proposals to include reviewing & updating Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW), preparing Basis of Estimates (BOEs), performing quality checks on all proposal submittals, attending proposal related reviews. Evaluates issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Prepares heading check executive level briefings for management and develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, work autonomously under general direction and will demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills.

    This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    Qualifications :

    This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4.

    Basic Qualifications (Level 3):
    oBachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering related disciplines with 6-9 years of relatable work experience.
    oExcellent oral and written communication skills; intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
    oActive DoD Secret Clearance (In Scope) with a Periodic Review completed in the last 5 years
    Basic Qualifications (Level 4):
    oBachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering related disciplines with 10-14 years of relatable work experience.
    oExcellent oral and written communication skills; must have previous experience leading a team in successful completion of projects; must be competent in SAP, Business Warehouse, intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
    oActive DoD Secret Clearance (In Scope) with a Periodic Review completed in the last 5 years

    Preferred Qualifications (Level 3):
    oMaster's Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline. Preferred systems include MPM, Rapid and ProPricer proposal tools, SAP and Business Warehouse. MS Access experience is desired but not required.
    oActive DoD Top Secret Clearance (In Scope) with a Periodic Review completed in the last 5 years.
    Preferred Qualifications (Level 4):
    oMaster's Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline. Preferred systems include MPM, Rapid and ProPricer proposal tools. MS Access experience is desired but not required
