Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems - High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) Fielded Aircraft Sustainment Team (FAST) Department is seeking a Supervisor for the Contractor Field Team at Beale AFB, CA, reporting to the Contractor Field Team Manager in the Global Logistics and Operational Support functional organization. The Supervisor will lead a group of 5-15 field technicians, engineers, and logisticians who responsibilities include the depot level modifications on DoD Unmanned Aerial Vehicle fleet assets. This position is a hybrid role, consisting of direct support to programs and people management.
The FAST Supervisor has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for leading the manufacturing activities within DoD Unmanned Aerial Vehicle fleet assets, including quality, cost and schedule objectives and factory accountability.Essential Functions:
Providing direction to employees for depot level modifications, acceptance testing, ground operations, and ensuring adherence to procedures, safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements of various DoD Unmanned Aerial Vehicle fleet assets. Approving labor, ensuring Title V (environmental compliance), and all training requirements have met company processes, procedures, and DoD contract requirements. Establishing working relationships with subordinates, peers and support groups, through engagement while resolving conflicts, constraints, actions and affordability items. Communicating openly and displaying high ethics. Planning and monitoring various statements of work while ensuring thoroughness of data. Have a full understanding and successful execution of ground testing per DoD contract requirements. This position is also responsible for facilities planning, shop layouts, modifications schedule planning and labor plans associated with this statement of work. Occasional travel to various fielding asset locations is required.

- Associate's degree in a business, technical, or aerospace field, or equivalent (2 years of work experience for each year of education)
- At least 7 years of production experience with structural assemblies, mechanical, electrical, and or subsystems
assembly and test
- At least 3 years in a lead or leadership role
- Experience working with government/civilian customers
- Must be able to obtain DOD Interim Secret clearance prior to start
- Must be able to work any shift, as needed
- Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or aerospace field
- At least 7 years of aircraft production experience with structural assemblies, mechanical, electrical, and subsystems
assembly and test
- Experience working on DoD technical orders and contract ground operations procedures
- Experience working on HALE Aerial Vehicles
- Final active DoD Secret Clearance
