    Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist 3 in our San Diego, CA location.

    Essential Functions of the Position:
    • Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services
    • Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, writing awards, and administering resulting subcontracts
    • Negotiating and coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, subcontracts and/or procurement (11 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree), or 4 years of experience with a Master's degree
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • BS/Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management
    • 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
    • Basic knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
    • Experience with SAP or similar purchasing program
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
