    As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be working with testing systems for a variety of spacecraft and other technologies yet to come...     What you'll get to do:
    • Manage a team of two Deputy Sub-Project Managers (SPMs) and 12 Integration and Test (I&T) engineers to integrate, test and deploy ground software
    • Lead the Sub-Project team in refining I&T test procedures and incorporating test automation
    • Lead/support trade studies with respect to software I&T
    • Coordinate and lead I&T activities at the software factory and customer sites
    • Plan and conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Test Review Boards (TRBs) to demonstrate software and team readiness for integration and installation
    • Direct all aspects of the Sub-Project's tasking
    • Provide direct supervision and management of the Sub-Project team
    • Work closely with the Software Assistant Program Manager (APM) and Software Deputy APM to provide Estimates to Complete (ETCs), identify and address staffing needs, and communicate technical and staffing issues/challenges
    • Support management meetings and reviews
    • Coordinate and interface with the other SW Sub-Projects, Systems Engineering, cross-program counterparts, external customers, and site personnel
    • Coordinate staffing and resources to execute I&T activities for concurrent or overlapping software baseline installations
    • Support organic growth proposals (including CROMs & ECPs), author TD/BOEs and support proposal development (including submission, capture, and negotiations)
    • Determine and develop technical solutions to complex problems independently

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications:
    • 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 7 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    • Active DoD Top Secret clearance or SCI
    • Working knowledge of software and systems engineering principles and processes



    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Excellent leadership and presentation skills; effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers, and customers
    • Excellent technical writing and team building skills
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide an I&T team
