CubeSmart is currently seeking a IT Project Manager, Enterprise Data and Business Intelligence to join the Information Technology team at our corporate office in Malvern, PA. The IT Project Manager, Enterprise Data and Business Intelligence is an important member of the IT Services team and is responsible for managing various types of projects focused on enterprise data and business intelligence initiatives. This role works closely with key business stakeholders as well as internal technical teams to deliver technology solutions ranging from new front-end reporting solutions, back-end system integrations, as well as supporting the data needs for other key projects across the company.

At CubeSmart, project management is not just about managing a formal process; it is an intimate and collaborative experience that brings people and technology together to solve real world problems and drive value. The ideal IT Project Manager is undeniably engaging, inherently collaborative, and eager to be fully accountable for the projects they own.

Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and the IT Department to identify, define, and implement projects that solve business problems and drive tangible value.
  • Assume full ownership of, and accountability for, assigned projects, while bringing together the required in-house and third-party resources to deliver on commitments.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a variety of aspects of CubeSmart's business and technology and leverage this knowledge to add value and drive quality.
  • Utilize CubeSmart project management best practices, including project documentation, life-cycle management, quality control and change management, to ensure proper stakeholder alignment, timeliness of deliverables, and overall quality of product.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to our business stakeholders and help drive our culture of collaboration and genuine care.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with specialization in technology, mathematics or business.
  • 3-5 years of immersive project management experience in an Information Technology or Software Product Development environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders, and at all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrable ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, particularly within the constructs of an agile methodology.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL Server) and database schemas
  • Intermediate SQL
  • In-depth understanding of system integrations including APIs and file based integrations
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with both on-prem and cloud-based software systems, preferably in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Qlik or other business intelligence and data visualization tools
  • Experience working with Point-of-Sale (POS) and/or transactional systems with a retail or hospitality emphasis.
  • Willingness to develop a deep reservoir of institutional knowledge, and to apply this knowledge to help solve problems, provide insight, and develop solutions.
  • Familiarity with an SSAE-16/18 standards and controls.
  • PMP, PPM, PMI certification or equivalent
