**Remote role**
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Within an assigned client base, the Senior Account Manager will focus on the retention and growth of
each client taken from an assigned client base. The Senior Account Manager needs to be a proactive,
self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and strong client communication skills, both oral and
written.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Represents in face-to-face client meetings with key accounts as appropriate.
Builds strong relations with the client executives.
Establishes an annual business plan to achieve revenue projections/set goals and the cross selling
of products.
Manages strategically and “upsells” additional services to an assigned, existing client base (i.e.
performs analysis and evaluations of accounts and uses information accordingly).
Works closely with Sales, Implementation and Operations Departments as needed.
Retains and grows account revenue of assigned clients; medium to large group accountability.
Implements, maintains and supports assigned clients.
Provides consultative services to broker/clients, including but not limited to, analysis opportunities for
the expansion of services.
Works directly with sales department to add new accounts
Works with internal departments that support our clients to maintain “best in class” service.
Understands thoroughly their assigned client’s expectations in their partnership with us.
Maintains accurate documentation and a working knowledge of the pertinent business information of
one’s clients.
Identifies new product sales opportunities to maximize revenue potential with one’s clients.
Monitor product performance, analyzes and reports accordingly.
Assists in maintaining a clean, safe and unobstructed workplace environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Baccalaureate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university preferred
Minimum of five years’ experience - health benefit medical insurance experience preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with high level executives
A proactive, self-starter
Ability to develop/maintain long-term business partnerships with clients
Flexibility to travel on a quarterly basis or upon request
Ability to identify new product sales opportunities and maximizing revenue by clients
A high level of professionalism, organization and flexibility
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills demonstrating strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task effectively
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and web-based applications
Regular, timely attendance
