About this job
Will lead a team of Medical and Scientific Writers who generate content for cross-functional teams. Position reports to a C-level leader and will oversee the research, writing/editing of protocols and analytical validations including reports, summaries, inserts and others that may be submitted to regulatory authorities. This role will also oversee publications in journal and presentations at congresses. Position will also manage development of SOPs, templates, formats and guidelines for documentation. Director will manage preparation of manuscripts, abstracts and poster as well as keep updated of current issues through literature searches and conferences.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Advanced degree highly preferred
- Prior experience with direct line management of medical writers
- Extensive experience with medical/scientific writing/communications in the diagnostic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry working under a regulated environment
- Experience with FDA regulations and approval processes
- Has collaborated for document development and tools for document collaboration
- Experienced in medical and scientific styles and formats
- Experience in genetics, molecular biology, high throughput sequencing and statistics around the science
- Has worked in a fast-paced and dynamic team
