Job Description
Tran Construction is hiring a full time construction laborer in San Jose home remodeling projects. The position will provide long term stability for the right individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
Pick up and deliver building materials to be used in construction.
Load or unload building materials to be used in construction (using company vehicle)
Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures
Performing physically demanding work such as digging trenches, backfilling holes, and/or compacting earth to prepare for construction
Operate or tend equipment and machines used in construction
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Running errands
Assist tradespeople with their duties, as directed - Ownership of tools is a plus, but not necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant MUST have a positive attitude towards change.
Can identify the need, remove the barriers and has the know how to make things happen.
Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people.
Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Personnel are expected to perform repetitive physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling of material/product and standing throughout each shift.
**Candidates must have valid California Driver License and clean driving record.**
All final candidates will be subject to a Fitness Test, Drug Screen, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.
