Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Passionate about food and customer service and is a problem-solver with strong work ethics and leadership skills. Ensures effective execution of the Brand Promise and understands that customer satisfaction always takes priority, but efficient operations make it possible. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal and external customer service, and build sales while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties/Responsibility/Skills
- Effectively manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
- Identify and delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and team members to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved
- Works with team members to create a restaurant environment that is friendly, fun, clean, and safe
- Treats all employees with care and respect and motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance while adhering to Company procedures
- Understands and utilizes JIB systems, processes, and tools and complies with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- Ensures guests receive an exceptional experience by holding team members accountable for consistently delivering excellent guest service and food quality
- Monitors adherence with all Ultra Fun Foods/JIB systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
- Maintains a positive brand image by ensuring consistent food quality, guest service, and restaurant cleanliness & maintenance
- Serves as a role model for excellent guest service
- Partners with Restaurant Manager in using management information tools to analyze restaurant operational and financial performance each Period

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must complete Assistant Manager Training
- Must have Restaurant Managers ServSafe Certification
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Proficient in English

- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
Education
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ as an Assistant Manager managing a service concept with some P&L responsibility
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs.
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and move freely throughout the restaurant
