Security Officer (A) - Industrial Security - Great Opportunity - Full-time / Part-time

Signal 88 Security is hiring for Armed Security Officers for our Industrial Security Division:

Industrial Security Officers (UA) secure access to important facilities and conduct vehicle and foot patrols and hourly reports and responding to Emergency calls, lock/unlock, parking violations, etc.

This is for a large shipbuilder for the United States Military supporting the defense of our nation.  It is a very interesting and exciting work environment.

Salary: $9.50-12.00+ /hour – Armed Officer positions available

Flexible Shifts & Scheduling – Nights & Weekend Shifts

Applicants are required to have AL Carry Permit and acceptable duty weapon

e are looking for people who know how to handle themselves in adverse situations and can stay calm throughout. We do not require any prior law enforcement, military, or security experience, but any experience that pertains to security will be a plus.

Our Mobile Patrol Division Officers patrol in our full marked late model SUVs with strobing emergency lights and spotlight for high deterrence. 

All our tour and reporting systems are through our state-of-the-art proprietary reporting systems.  We wear comfortable "soft-look" (polo shirts and tac pants) security uniforms.

Signal 88 Security Officers secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry, prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; discouraging and reporting trespassers and providing customer service and assistance to our client's customers.

License Requirements:

• Security Officers License (preferred/license training & assistance available)
• Driver's License (Excellent Driving History Required for Mobile Patrol)

**Armed Officers are expected to own an acceptable duty weapon, holster and duty gear and possess a valid pistol permit**
