Overview and Responsibilities

• Provides support to the operation of the Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post analytical processes resulting in optimal patient outcomes.
• Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required.

Qualifications

Experience Preferred: Hospital phlebotomy experience.

Education Minimum Required: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Training Preferred: Training as acquired in an approved phlebotomy training program.
