The Bar Manager oversees bar operations and drink and food service. Ensures that the bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed by staff to mix beverages and serve guests, Ensure Mixed drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages are prepared in compliance with company standards. Ensures identification of guests who appear to be under the age of 27 are verified for alcohol purchases. Ensures all cash control policies and procedures are followed. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the food menu, and maintains a complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available. Assist guests with general information upon request. Perform drop and count procedures in accordance with company regulations and departmental policies. Knows and follows safety guidelines and is alert to and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by employees and guests. Ensures registers, counters, floors, shelves and fixtures are kept clean and neat. Continually monitors personal and other employees' behavior for unsafe practices and takes corrective action when necessary .Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Ensures new employees are provided proper training. Willingly helps other employees when needed. Upholds company standards. Notifies FOH manager of positive and negative feedback from customers. Follows all security guidelines and procedures to prevent theft and vandalism of Company assets. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
